Legal Psychiatry Day: The Mental Disorders Review Board (CETM)

Patient Evaluation and Management

Special Guest:

Me Marie-Eve Corney-Robichaud,
President of the CETM

The lack of knowledge among healthcare professionals and hospital administrators about the legal tools available for handling non-compliance with CETM rulings can lead to severe consequences. This is the conclusion drawn by Coroner Me Géhane Kamel in her report on the events leading to the deaths of Maureen Breau and Isaac Brouillard Lessard.

This conference day will allow participants to review the foundational principles of the CETM’s operations and update their knowledge to accurately assess the risks CETM-supervised individuals may pose to public safety.
