Aarlenne Khan

Aarlenne Khan is an assistor professor at the University of Montreal’s school of Optometry. She is also chairholder for the Canada Research Chair in Vision, Attention and Action.

Ms. Khan is a specialist in the interaction between attention and ocular movements in the healthy and sick brain. Other than her work on ataxia, she also leads research with patients who have injuries in the parietal cortex or who suffer from Parkinson’s. She is particularly interested in different interactions between attention, vision and movement in healthy patients or patients who suffer from brain injuries through behavioural and neurophysiological studies such as behavioural and psychophysical studies, injury studies and transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS).
