Thomas Poder is an associate professor at the Department of management, evaluation and health policies at the University of Montreal’s School of Public Health (ESPUM) since 2019. He is also a regular researcher at the Centre de recherche de l’Institut Universitaire en Santé Mentale de Montréal (IUSMM). Since 2017, he is a member of the Comité délibératif permanent – modes d’intervention en santé of the Institut National d’Excellence en Santé et Services Sociaux (INESSS). He is also the editor-in-chief of two international journals with peer committees (http://www.cybelepress.com/about.html) and co-director of the health group of the SOUTIEN-SSA unity of Quebec.
Dr. Poder’s research interests aim to measure the life years adjusted by its quality (AVAQ-QALY). He is specialized in the Health Technology Assessment – HTA and Health Preference Research.
